As a staff or faculty member (the mentee) you will be matched with a student and take part in a mentoring relationship that will allow you to see U of T through the eyes of a student.

This program is for staff and faculty members who wish to have meaningful interactions with the “average” student and empower students to take on active roles in their community.

One condition of being accepted into the program is that attendance at program activities are mandatory. Staff and faculty who have conflicts at these times will have to participate in a different session of the program.

7. CULTURAL & TECHANICAL EVENTS

During which a student learns new things and comes across several experiences. 8. MANAGEMENT EVENTS

Event management as “the application of project management to the creation and development of large scale events. It involves studying the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning the logistics, and coordinating the technical aspects before actually launching the event”…which is also very accurate.

9. PARENTS TEACHER MEETING

Parent teacher meeting is a prominent and notable feature of the school curriculum. The motive is close interaction of parents with teachers with regard to the progress shown by their wards and finding workable solutions to the problems coming in the way of development of their ward. The IGMITI also conducts special Parent Teacher Meetings for first year and Second Year students.It is mandatory for all parents to attend the Parent-Teacher Meeting. In case of an extreme situation where the parent cannot attend, written intimation should be provided. If the child is not making the desired progress, parents are welcome to contact the Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, Class Teacher or the concerned Subject Teacher so as to discuss remedial measures that can be taken. Such meetings, however, will be arranged on appointments made through the office of the Principal and on no account should parents contact the teachers in their classrooms directly.
